  • Serves as the primary platform through which Faculty conducts contract research, sponsored projects, clinical services, and innovation in health sciences.

  • Supports over 100 research entities, aligned to academic departments within the Faculty of Health Sciences.
  • Manages around 300 active contracts annually, demonstrating capacity for large-scale, multi‑stakeholder coordination.
  • Oversees sponsor and donor funding exceeding USD 150 million each year, ensuring compliance, financial stewardship, and accountability.

  • WHC operates a widely recognised Shared Services Centre (SSC) providing integrated services.
  • We have skilled teams with expertise in regulatory, ethical, financial and operational frameworks, enabling seamless execution of complex research and development activities.
  • WHC works closely with university leadership, academic faculties, researchers, donors, sponsors, and international funding bodies, ensuring strong partnerships and high‑quality delivery.
